Bullet train, calls on memories of my first trip on the famous Shinkansen (Japan's Bullet train) down to Kyoto. While I was starring out the windows going at amazing speeds through the Japanese countryside I felt a sense of calm that was quite unique and dream like. I suppose Japan has that affect on me in general. This was my attempt to re-create that feeling in a musical composition.
The electric guitar textures that drift through the background drenched in reverb are played by Ben Panucci, and added a great organic element that supported the more glitchy textures and helped glue the elements together and create a greater sense of atmosphere.
