This track was written a few years back and started a band project which hasn’t yet seen the light of day. In essence, it focuses on the use of vocals as an instrument to enhance an instrumental piece and aims at creating a more live recorded atmosphere.

Drums were initially programmed to sound as natural as possible - it got pretty close, but in the end it made sense to have real drums played by someone. In the end they came from Plutonic Lab, which was a total honour for me as he’s been an inspiration musically and someone I’ve listened to closely for over 10 years.

The bass line (crucial to the vibe of this track) was played by Miles Sharma-Constance. Miles is a somewhat elusive musician who currently resides in the Blue Mountains of NSW but whenever his playing is captured in the studio it offers a unique brand of magic. Flute layers from Lou Millar help create possibly the most psychedelic song on the record and breaks free from traditional pop song structures.
