Queen bee, features more live musical elements than any of the other tracks on the Album and the idea was to capture a bit more of a live Jam type of energy. The horn section parts layered with Minimoog Model D lead lines where recorded by Trevor Brown. Rhodes played by Captain Earwax, and the guitar Rhythm parts were laid down by Ben Panucci.
Since I had this name Queen bee for the track I decided it better have some bee samples in it, so as a final touch I sampled Bee swarm sounds and played chords using the Akai S2000 sampler. The bee samples where then Side chained off the Kick.
